More in the life of the Batty's

Wow I didn't realize how long it had been since I "wrote in my journal!"  That's probably why I was never good at keeping a journal I thought if I all I had to do was type I would do better, guess not.  Anyway, I feel like I need to talk about the events of our life over the last month.  On September 21, 2012 we said our final goodbye to Mother Batty.  She has suffered with Alzhiemers for 5 years it was one of those happy sad moments.  We know she's in a better place but unfortunately we are left behind.

A few months ago I was asked by my dear sister-in-law Lela if I would be willing to help with Mother Batty.  I was honored to have been asked.  I looked forward to going over and spending that time with her.  I got very much attached to both Mom and Dad Batty.  I got to hear so many stories I hadn't heard before and my love grew deeper for them.  She will be very much missed, but I know she's not in any pain and she's happy and that makes it easier.

Now to a lighter note, school started. Yay!! Breken is in the fifth grade he's doing well so far.  He has good friends and is making good choices.  He is a huge help to me with the other kids and has become quite the little babysitter.

Graydon is doing another year of pre-school and it has been a great decision he's doing a lot better this year.  He has the cutest little friend, sorry best friend, Bryson.  They are hooked at the hip it's fun to watch them together.

Dacee has started pre-school she loves every minute of it.  She also goes to speech so on Mondays she's in school all day.  I worried it would wear her out but not Dacee she's my social butterfly and as long as she gets to play with her friends she's happy.  Every where we go she's a little girl around her age and she always  refers to them as her "best friend."  We have tried to potty train her several times and she has no interest and I'm getting frustrated.  The doctor said if she isn't progressing we will have to see the Pediatric Urologist.

Jaynee has finally started walking!!!  Good thing she was getting heavy!  She has been so much fun she has such a cute personality.  She loves to dance and play ring-around-the-rosies with Dacee.  She goes to Kindermusik once a week and loves loves loves it.

Well that's a quick rundown to get caught up in the life of the Batty's.
